Bonnets: How Ladies of Good Breeding Are Induced to Murder
Weaving between the 17th and 19th Centuries, this absurdist, campy exploration of love and violence shows how easily three women become murderers. Written by Jen Silverman (the most performed playwright in the country), Bonnets was originally commissioned by the Big Ten Theatre Consortium, whose goal is to promote the writing and production of new works about women by professional and academic theatres around the country.
Priscilla Lindsay, director
