Advancing Career Targets (ACT) 2023 Information Session
The Advancing Career Targets (ACT) Program aims to help Ph.D. students in their 3rd year and above engage in active career exploration and empower them to take concrete steps towards their career goals.
The program is open to Ph.D. students who began their Ph.D. training between 2018-2020 and who are in a PIBS-affiliated program. What differentiates the ACT program from others is that it creates a community of peer support among students within biomedical disciplines currently in similar stages of career exploration and preparation.
The program meets once a week for 4 weeks starting February 1, 2022. Attendance in all four sessions is required for participants to have a complete experience of peer support and to obtain a completion certificate. Applications are due by 9:00 am on Monday, December 23.
