Conducting the Literature Review in the Social Sciences
For graduate students beginning a literature review for a research project, proposal, dissertation, or publication in the social sciences, this workshop will help you to get started or improve your literature search process. We will discuss the content and characteristics of the literature review, the process and how to avoid some common pitfalls. We will also introduce core databases that are essential tools for anyone looking to thoroughly mine the academic literature.
