Join us for a Fireside Chat with Michael Schaftel, Managing Director and Global Head of Distribution for Equities at Morgan Stanley, moderated by University of Michigan Alum and Morgan Stanley Associate, Andie Silverstein. Michael is a University of Michigan Alum responsible for Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Client business. Michael joined Morgan Stanley full-time in 1994 and has held several positions in the Institutional Equities Division and Global Capital Markets in both New York and London, including Head of European Equity Syndicate and Equity Capital Markets for the Media and Communications Sectors. Michael returned to the Equity Division in 2006 to run Sales Trading and took on his role as Head of Americas Distribution in late 2008.
