CHOP Quality Improvement Summer 2023 Internship Information Session
Please join members from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia(CHOP), Center for Healthcare Quality and Analytics (CHQA) to learn moreabout the CHOP Quality Improvement internship program. You will learn more about CHQA, the internship program and you will hear from past interns about their experience at CHOP!
This program is designed to provide students the opportunity to gain exposure to quality improvement and hospitaloperations in a large academic medical center. Students can also gain practical experience by assisting staff with projects in the areas of:
• Quality Improvement
• Patient Safety
• Clinical Standards
• Infection Prevention and Control
• Clinical Pathways
• Regulatory Affairs and Accreditation
• Data and Analytics
The summer 2023 internship will be for both undergraduate and graduate students, which will be a paid experience. It will be in a hybrid format (remote and in-person). The expected weekly hours to work will be 30 hours per week throughout the 10-to-12-week program. Graduate students may be able to continue beyond the 10-12 weeks for school credit. To be eligible for this internship, undergraduate students must be current juniors, while graduate students must be 1st year students.
