Search Employers on Handshake to learn more about the companies. Do not plan to visit with every employer attending the fair.Practice your Pitch! Your professional "elevator" pitch is not a script for you to memorize and recite verbatim. It is a "mental outline" to help you organize and remember the main qualities you want an employer to know when you introduce yourself. It should flow naturally and not come across as robotic.On the Day of the Fair:Dress to impress: Even though this fair is virtual, it is important to make a good impression and wear business casual/professional attire that you feel comfortable and confident in.Make sure your resume is updated and on Handshake, and that you have a quiet environment with reliable internet connection to minimize distractions. After the Fair:Write down thefirst and last name of each representative you meet with.Politely ask them if they would share an email address where you can keep in touch.
