Speaker: Ellen Katz, J.D., Professor of Law U-M

Often called the “crown jewel” of the civil rights movement, the Voting Rights Act is now vulnerable to invalidation. Several pending cases challenge its constitutionality. Professor Katz will provide an analysis of these challenges, their likelihood of success and the consequences if they prevail.
