Black History Month is an annual observance originating in the United States that was previously one week coinciding with the birthdays of two men who playedlarge parts in eliminating slavery, Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass. In 1976, Texas A&M University Afro-American history professor Albert Broussard, turned this observance into a month-long celebration. This webinar is created to engage with students and give our employees, present and future, an opportunity to celebrate Black History and what it means toyou.
