College Possible Chicago is looking for full time AmeriCorps Coaches to commit to a year of service from August 2023 - June 2024. As a college access and success nonprofit, we serve 1600 students across Chicago and aim to increase that number each year. We serve students from their junior year of high school through their college graduation, supporting them with our near peer coaching model that pairs recent college graduates with Chicago students. As a Coach, you will serve a diverse cohort of Chicago Public School students, many of whom are the first in their family to go to college, by sharing your experiences and advice. As recent college graduates, AmeriCorps Coaches are familiar with the higher education system and College Possible equips them with the curriculum and tools they need to share their knowledge with others.

In this information session you will hear an overview of College Possible, the responsibilities of AmeriCorps Coaches and the benefits of service. We will have plenty of time for any questions that you may have about the role and our organization. The position is open to graduates of any major and with any career aspirations.
