CEW Visiting Scholar Dr. Erin Kenny chronicles the unique challenges faced by women students and their families of origin. Her research highlights strategies that women from rural communities use to achieve educational success. Dr. Kenny is an associate professor in anthropology at Drury University, where she directs the Women and Gender Studies program.
