Guided Meditation and wellness session with guest artist Dawn Avery

Meditation: Dawn Avery will lead a guided meditation through a journey of story and images for peace and balance. It will be accompanied by the beautiful sounds of the carillon from a new work written especially for the occasion.
Wellness Class: As a workshop leader, Dawn Avery uses meditation and years of experience with spiritual leaders, shamans, healers, history, music and myth from around the world, including her own Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) traditions and work in sacred world traditions. Together, participants will explore the remembrance of their deeper intelligence and hold change in a world that needs change. In addition, Dawn will provide tools for meditation, stress relief, alignment and better living.

GRAMMY- and NAMA-nominated world music artist, ethnomusicologist, and composer, Dawn Avery (of Mohawk heritage) offers presentations, meditations, and performances of her new carillon works. All events are free and open to the public.
