COVID Information Commons Student Working Group
The CIC invites students of all academic backgrounds and varying research experience to join the CIC Student Working Groups. Students around the world will join a community of young professionals and researchers interested in the future of COVID-19 and ongoing pandemic research.
On January 17th, 2023, the first successful meeting of the student working groups was conducted with more than 20 students joining from various locations around the globe. The meeting was organized to discuss the challenges and opportunities that students have faced during the COVID-19 pandemicand to develop strategies to pursue research and projects for future impacts. The meeting was a great success, with students sharing their experiences, ideas and resources, and discussing ways to collaborate and support one another. The meeting ended with a plan to continue the meeting regularly and to establish a shared platform to share resources and ideas. Overall, the meeting was an important step in building a community of students who are committed to exploring pre and post COVID-19 pandemic impact andimplications.
