Be Prepared and Be Resilient: DHS Tools to Promote Campus Safety
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) invites collegeand university students, faculty and staff, law enforcement, and alumni to join an interactive panel discussion with DHS leaders and partners. The conversation will raise awareness of relevant DHS and partner resourcesand opportunities available for higher education institutions as they relate to identifying and mitigating threats on campuses. Panelists will empower the campus community to be prepared and resilient before, during, and after threat situations.
Participants will hear from the DHS “If You See Something, Say Something®” campaign, National Threat Evaluationand Reporting Office, Office for State and Local Law Enforcement, Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency, and Federal Emergency Management Agency. A question-and-answer session will follow the panel discussion.
