About NYC Health + Hospitals
Elmhurst Hospital Center (EHC)is the major tertiary care provider in the borough of Queens. The hospital is comprised of 545 beds and is a Level I Trauma Center, an Emergency Heart Care Station and a 911 Receiving Hospital. It is the premiere health care organization for key areas such as Surgery, Cardiology, Women's Health, Pediatrics, Rehabilitation Medicine, Renal and Mental Health Services.

QUALIFICATIONS:
BHA-Behavioral Health Associate
Associate’s degree in criminal justice, social services or a healthrelated area; or
High School diploma/G.E.D. and one 1year of full-time experience in law enforcement, nursing or psychiatric/behavioral health in a high volume, intensive care environment.
Successful completion of an appropriate training program in the application and use of restraints and seclusion must be completed prior to an individual performing such work.
Annual Salary: $57,258
PCA-Patient Care Associate
EKG & Phlebotomy certifications required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Annual Salary: $44,186
Staff Nurse
NYS Registered Nurse and BLS required
New Grads Welcome to apply - Must have successfully completed NCLEX exam
Annual Salary: $84,744
Staff Nurses are eligible to receive additional compensation based on the following:
Certification differential (rate varies based on specialty) Experience differential (1 year-$987 to 10 years-$8,190)
Education differential (BSN - $1,800; MSN - $2,000)
Evening ($4,654) and night ($5,689) shift differential
Uniform allowance and tuition reimbursement per fiscal year (Full-time employees$3500, and part-time 22.0-37.5 work hours/week $1,750)
One-time lump sum retention bonus for first 5 years fulltime per annum hours ($2,000 for the first year; Total of $8,250 after 5 years)
