2023 Graduate (DMA Piano Performance) Aleksandra Kasman performs.

Pianist Sasha Kasman Laude is from Birmingham, Alabama. She studied at Juilliard and at University of Alabama at Birmingham and has performed at major venues across the US, France, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, South Korea, and Japan. As an SMTD student, Sasha won the graduate Concerto Competition, became an NPR Young Artist-in-Residence, received top prizes in several international competitions, and performed with the Calgary and Dayton Philharmonic Orchestras, the Huntsvilleand Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestras, and the University Philharmonia Orchestra. A passionate educator, Sasha has given over 100 outreach performances and guest taught at MIT, Lee University, and Bowling Green State University. This fall, Sasha joins the faculty of Utah State University as assistant professor of piano.
