Melissa Duhaime is an assistant professor in the U-M Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and instructor of “Microbes in the Wild” at the U-M Biological Station, an 11,000-acre research and teaching campus just south of the Mackinac Bridge on Douglas Lake. As part of the 2023 Summer Lecture Series, she will explore the fascinating world of viruses and microplastics.
