What do Laboratory Assistants do?

-Support patient testing in a busy laboratory setting
-Biological specimen receipt, identification,verification, processing, and storage
-A variety of clerical, processing, and laboratory duties including filing, stocking, receiving shipments, cleaning
-Partner with team members to foster an inclusive work environment

What do Laboratory Processing Assistants do?

-Support patient testing in a busy laboratory setting
-Perform pre-analytic specimen processing
-Data entry, ensuring accuracy
-Operate a variety of laboratory and office equipment
-May perform complex reagent (compound or mixture)preparation
-Respond to a high volume of phone calls
-Manage supply inventory
-Partner with team members to foster an inclusive work environment
