University Symphony Orchestra
Kenneth Kiesler conducts the opening concert of the University Symphony Orchestra with soloist Paul Dwyer, winner of the 2009 Concerto Competition. A program of Russian music reveals divergent facets of Shostakovich, and rises to an affirming conclusion with the Fifth Symphony of Tchaikovsky. Pre-concert lecture at 7:15 pm.
