LSA TS Infrastructure will be performing standard maintenance on the LSA Linux and Windows servers and various network appliances. These servers and services may be temporarily unavailable between 7:00 am Saturday, July 27 and 12:00pm Sunday, July 28.

What are we doing?

We're performing routine maintenance:

• Applying firmware and software updates
• Performing additional hardware and software maintenance
• Testing business continuity plans
• Unracking decommissioned hardware

In addition, UMnet will be replacing our network switches at our south-of-campus data center.

What services will be impacted and for how long?

The following services will have intermittent outages between 7:00 am Saturday, July 27 and 12:00 pm Sunday, July 28:

• Bomgar screen-sharing
• Integrated Publishing Tool (IPT)
• Linux automation and build services (Ansible and Satellite)
• Math Gateway testing servers
• Mi-Portfolio
• Michigan Flora Online
• Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
• Online Purchasing System (OPS)
• OpenShift-based services
• Password management services
• SharePoint services for the college and university
• SQL databases and reporting services
• Visiting Scholars
• Windows Lifecycle Management System (WLMS)
• Windows Web Application Hosting (WWAH)
