LSA TS Infrastructure Fall 2024 Maintenance
LSA TS Infrastructure will be performing standard maintenance on the LSA Linux and Windows servers. These servers and services may be temporarily unavailable starting at 7:00 am on Saturday, October 19. All LSA servers are expected to fully return to service by 3:00 pm, Saturday, October 19.
What are we doing?
We're performing routine maintenance:
• Applying software updates
• Decommissioning physical equipment
• Performing additional maintenance
• Testing business continuity plans
• Unracking decommissioned hardware
• Installing hardware upgrades
What services will be impacted and for how long?
The following services will have intermittent outages between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm Saturday, October 19:
• Bomgar screen-sharing
• Distributed File System (DFS) links using \\dfs.lsa.umich.edu-based paths
• Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
• OpenShift-based services
• SharePoint services for the college and university
• SQL databases and reporting services
• Unit Websites (AEM), but not the editing functions or the LSA Gateway
• Windows Lifecycle Management System (WLMS)
• Windows Web Application Hosting (WWAH)
