Rialto Capital Employer Challenge
Thank you for your interest in the Rialto Capital Employer Challenge hosted by the University Career Center!
Founded in 2007, RialtoCapital is a leading capital management firm that invests in real estate properties, loans, and securities throughout the capital structure. Their global investor base includes large institutions, pensions, sovereign wealth funds, foundations and individuals. Rialto’s experience investing across the risk spectrum and market cycles allow them to pursue strategies consistent with the objectives of their investors. During this challenge, after carefully reviewing a prospective loan’s Asset Summary Report, participants will provide quantitative and qualitative responses to a series of questions pertaining to the loan and underlying collateral.
This Employer Challenge is for you if:
You want to learn about Rialto Capital and Capital Management industry
You want to apply your coursework to real-world examples
You want to connect with professionals and recruiters and build your self-confidence
You want to practice your analytic, collaboration, and presentation skills
Teams will consist of 2-4 U-M Ann Arbor undergraduate students. Only one application is required per group.

At least one member from each team MUST participate in the employer office hours on Friday, September 22nd from 12-12:30 pm EST (Zoom link to follow). If a member from your team is not there, your team cannot participate.
All team members MUST be available to present their case IN PERSON sometime between 1:00 - 3:30 pm EST on Friday, September 29, 2023. Each team will sign up for a 20-minute time slot in that window. It is the responsibility of the team to meet together and work on this project on their owntime.
This application will close on September 17, 2023 at 11:59 pm EST. However, we encourage you to apply ASAP as this application may closeearly if many applications are received, as we will accept teams on a rolling basis. You will be notified if your team is selected to participate by Monday, September 18, 2023. Questions? Email uccexp@umich.edu.
