Affinity Community Resource Week—Students with Disabilities

Grad School 101 invites you to attend our inaugural Affinity Community Resource Week!
The University has so much to offer you! We want to make sure that you know about some of the resources that are available.
Our Affinity Community Resource Week offers a week’s worth of panels devoted to resources here at UofM that exist for some of our affinity communities in Rackham. Each day, we will focus on a resource (or resources) related to a different affinity group within the Rackham community. The featured panelists will be individuals who work in the departments/organizations where this resource can be accessed.

This resource panel will focus on the Academic Support and Access Partnerships (ASAP) opportunities provided by the Student Accessibility and Accommodation Services. ASAP exists to help neurodiverse students build community and provide opportunities to help students increase their self-efficacy, engagement, motivation, and academic performance. Representatives from ASAP will discuss the academic coaching, peer assisted study sessions, scholarships and mini-grants, and academic skills workshops that are offered through ASAP.
Registration is required at https://myumi.ch/W2q19.
We want to ensure full and equitable participation in our events. If an accommodation would promote your full participation in this event, please follow the registration link to indicate your accommodation requirements. Please let us know as soon as possible in order to have adequate time, preferably one week, to arrange for your requested accommodations or an effective alternative.
