U-M Industrial and Operations Engineering (IOE) Undergraduate Research Symposium

The University of Michigan Industrial and Operations Engineering (U-M IOE) Department invites you to attend the inaugural IOE Undergraduate Research Symposium.

The symposium will feature presentations by U-M IOE PhD students, a poster competition with awards for undergraduate students, and research exploration time with U-M IOE faculty and students. Lunch and IOE swag will be provided!

This symposium is geared toward Michigan Engineering undergraduate students who currently conduct research in industrial and operations engineering or are considering it.

Agenda:
8:30 - 9 a.m.: Opening remarks and U-M IOE ambassador presentation
9 - 10 a.m.: PhD student talks
10 - 10:30 a.m.: Coffee break
10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Undergraduate poster session
12 - 1 p.m.: Lunch
1 - 2 p.m.: Research exploration with current faculty and grad students
