Women as Negotiators: Combating the Gender Wage Gap
This workshop will focus on the many steps women can take to avoid getting stuck in their own gender wage gap, and give students the opportunity to practice effective negotiation strategies early on in their career. Through interactive exercises, participants will better understand how to:
Ӣ Negotiate an equitable job off er for their first position out of college
Ӣ Navigate the negotiation process now and in future offers to avoid career setbacks
Ӣ Advocate for state and federal pay equity legislation
