According to a 2018 study, recruiters spend an average of 7 seconds reviewing an individual resumé. This means resumés that stand out have a simple layout, prioritize professional experiences and skills at the top, and are shorter in length. Whether you’re looking for an internship or searching for job opportunities, learn how to craft a resumé and cover letter that potential employers look at longer.
This workshop will include an Online Canvas module activity. Combined, you’ll work at your own pace as you practice translating your strengths and experiences into an effectively constructed resumé and cover letter. Please plan on bringing your laptop to access the LSA canvas website and modules if you are able!
