A fast-paced, vibrant and thrilling nonlinear script, Attempts on Her Life unfurls in 17 wildly different scenarios: an ensemble of actors find themselves attempting to define the life of a mysterious figure named Anne, whose various identities and narratives always seem to elude them. The play embraces a meta-physical, absurdist approach as we find ourselves navigating a provocative, lyrical and dangerous prose: Crimp’s world is ominous, and this play puts forth the complexities of our contemporary world– blurring the lines between reality and performance art, the play asks that we reconsider the very ways we think of personal and collective narrative in a world that feels like it’s about to blow.
