Using Zoom in Canvas (Fall 2023 Prep)

Zoom is integrated with Canvas, streamlining the online experience for both instructors and students. It is now even easier for instructors to create new meetings for their courses, automatically populate the meeting links to Canvas course calendars, and generate meeting attendance and polling reports.

In this workshop we will take a look at:

-Adding Zoom to your Canvas Course
-Scheduling a Zoom course meeting
-A view of the student experience
-Pulling reports
-Posting recordings for students to view
-How to coordinate with instructional teams

This workshop, and all workshops in this Fall prep series, will take place online via Zoom. All sessions will be recorded and shared with participants, as well as posted to ITS Teaching & Learning Workshops MiVideo channel.
