Pre-Law LSA Students with Maria LoCicero ‘25 Michigan JD Candidate: Alum Connection session
Join us for this lunch-and-learn session in our Grad School Alum Connections series, bringing aMAIZing LSA alums together with students to share their journeys in and beyond grad school. Maria LoCicero is a current 2L (second year law student) at the University of Michigan Law School. After graduating from the University of Michigan in 2021 with degrees in History and Arts & Ideas in the Humanities, Maria spent a year serving with City Year, Chicago where she taught 7th and 8th grade science and social-emotional learning. In her itty bitty free time, Maria enjoys running (she has been training for a marathon) and making art of all kinds.
Join Maria in this in-person session to ask her any and all questions you may have about pursuing a JD. She is excited to share her experience, her thoughts on the process of applying to law school, creating a balance of professional and personal fulfillment, and how to pick the right school for you.
You should attend this session if you are:
- An undergraduate U-M LSA student
- Thinking about applying to law school after you graduate from LSA
- Curious how a successful BIPOC alumna navigated various identity-related challenges in grad programs
- Interested in career paths within law and professional experiences to explore them
What you’ll gain by attending:
