Every child deserves passionate, anti-racist advocates in their corner, especially in their classrooms. This event shines a spotlight on the collaborative efforts of educators and organizations committed to advancing social justice through education, with a special focus on the vibrant landscape of New York City, Philadelphia, and Beyond.
Event Highlights:
Keynote Addresses: Be inspired by compelling speakers from City Year, TFA, and City Teaching Alliance who have used their post grad careers to create inclusive and equitable learning environments.
Panel Discussions: Engage in thought-provoking panel discussions featuring three New York educators about their impact in and out of state. They will share their experiences, insights, and innovative strategies for driving social change within the classroom and beyond.
Interactive Breakout Space: Participate in interactive breakout space that will allow you to explore each org closer and examine practical approaches to fostering equity within educational settings and extending its reach into the communities we aim to serve
