BLUE ROOM Investing Hedge Fund - Michigan Student Engagement Session
We are excited to invite you to BLUE ROOM Investing’s Michigan College Engagement Session.
BLUE ROOM is a hedge fund whose primary fund is a concentrated long-short US equity portfolio that leverages the firm's exceptional independent macroeconomic research and detailed fundamental company analysis to construct a portfolio of 40-50 high conviction equities designed to deliver and compound asymmetric return over a market cycle while providing downside protection.
BLUE ROOM was founded by Minyoung Sohn, who holds over 20 years of investment experience at Janus and ArrowMark and has received recognition from the Wall Street Journal as one of The Best Stock Fund Managers of 2019. Along with Mr. Sohn, the BLUE ROOM portfolio is co-managed by John Fenley, who holds over 30 years of investment experience and is a recipient of the Lipper Award for excellence indelivering strong risk-adjusted returns.
At the engagement session, hear and learn from two of BLUE ROOM’s analysts -- Spencer Wootten and Aidan Fetterly. The pair will lead an interactive session about the world ofpublic equity investing as well as BLUE ROOM’s private, social impact arms. Mr. Wootten and Mr. Fetterly will share stories detailing their professional experiences, discuss BLUE ROOM's culture and mission, provide examples of investment analysis and portfolio management, and engage in a Q&A session.
