At this point in life, we often review the past. What has shaped our character and destiny? The role of fathers is often significant. What are the building blocks in childhood? How did we deal with the non-encouraging father, or one who loudly always has the last word? Mort Chethik, Emeritus Professor in Psychiatry at the University of Michigan, will illustrate with some cases highlighting these issues. The purpose of the course is to gain perspective on this relationship, as well as our own role as fathers with our sons.
