CJS's 6th Annual Mochitsuki
CJS's 2010 Mochitsuki features mochi-making in the traditional way (using an usu and kine), mochi taste-testing, games, origami, kamishibai (Japanese storytelling), kakizome (New Year's calligraphy), manga-drawing, ikebana (flower arranging) demonstrations, and live music featuring Miyabi (koto music) and Raion Taiko (taiko drumming). This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
