Gemini's "When I'm 64" Concert

A show for adults from Gemini!
Twin brothers San and Laz Slomovits were born in Budapest in 1949 and left Hungary after the 1956 revolution. Come celebrate their 64th birthday and the start of their 40th year of playing music! Though most of the time they play music for children and families, this will be a concert for adults. The brothers will play music and recall favorite memories from each of the four decades of their career: songs by many of the artists who've inspired them, including among others, Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, Tom Paxton, and the Beatles. They'll also sing their own songs, as well as poetry they've set to music. San's daughter Emily will be special guest, joining on violin and vocals. Leave the kids at home with their favorite babysitter and come celebrate and sing with two beloved Michigan musicians!
