Launch your Startup Ops Career w/ Venture For America ft Brianne Alvarez
In America, the impact of entrepreneurship is powerful. Entrepreneurship drives innovation, economic growth, social mobility and more, but it's not accessible to all. Venture For America seeks to change that.
Venture For America is mobilizing the next generation of entrepreneurs and equipping them with experience, training, and community to become startup leaders and founders. During the two-year Fellowship, our Fellows are salaried, full-time employees at startups or high-growth companiesin one of our 13 cities, working in a range of roles and industries fromproject management, ops, sales, VC, UX, and more. During this event, you'll hear from Brianne Alvarez, '21 Philadelphia Fellow about her experience working at CampusESP as an Operations Specialist where she rolls up her sleeves to dig into data and works with the management team to identify and solve problems across the company. She'll also share about her VFAexperience.
Through VFA, Fellows find lifelong friends, an entrepreneurial community, and a network of individuals to help take their careerand ambitions to the next level. In addition to hearing from Brianne, our recruitment team will walk you through our mission, how Fellows find their job, common roles and industries available to Fellows, plus the programming, community, and resources. We'll close out with a Q&A with Brianne, our recruiters and how to apply for our next deadline on Dec. 1.
To apply to Venture For America's 2024 Fellowship class you must be a U.S.citizen, permanent resident or DACA recipient, early in your career (completed your undergraduate degree since 2021)
