Join the Center for Academic Innovation for an engaging Innovation Insights Research Talk, with Dr. Ahmed Lachheb, Senior Learning Experience Designer. In How Learning Designers Can Leverage Design Ethics, Dr. Lachheb will discuss how to leverage design ethics to demonstrate how to use a practical, ethical decision-making framework as a tool for design. The presentation will highlight where the ethical responsibility of learning designers comes into the foreground, especially in online settings.

About Ahmed Lachheb

Dr. Ahmed Lachheb is an internationally award-winning design scholar, practitioner, and educator. He serves as a Senior Learning Experience Designer at the University of Michigan’s Center for Academic Innovation. His research interests include design practice, designers' design knowledge and actions, design theory, and design pedagogy. Dr. Lachheb has earned his Ph.D. in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University Bloomington and his master's degree in Educational Technology from Grand Valley State University. He serves on the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Designs for Learning (IJDL). More about his work can be found on his website: lachheb.me
