Launch your Startup, Management & Founder Career w/ Venture For America
In America, the impact of entrepreneurship is powerful. Entrepreneurship drives innovation, economic growth, social mobility and more, but it's not accessible to all. Venture For America seeks to change that through our two year Fellowship.
The Venture For America Fellowship is mobilizing the next generation of entrepreneurs and equipping them withexperience, training, and community to become startup leaders and founders. During the two-year Fellowship, our Fellows are salaried, full-timeemployees at startups or high-growth companies in one of our 13 cities, working in a range of roles and industries from project management, ops,sales, VC, UX, and more, and engaging in entrepreneurial programming.
During this event, you'll hear from Kalena Meyer, who is a 2021 Birmingham Alumna about her experience working as an Operations Analyst and Account Manager in the Fellowship. Since then, Kalena has worked as a Business Operations Consultant and Co-Founded Yosubi where she participated inan intensive 6-week incubator program for idea stage ventures in the techindustry. During the webinar you'll hear about her Fellowship experience, learnings as a management professional and Founder journey.
Through VFA, Fellows find lifelong friends, an entrepreneurial community, and a network of individuals to help take their career and ambitions to the nextlevel. In addition to hearing from Kalena, our recruitment team will walk you through how Fellows find their job, common roles and industries available to Fellows, plus the programming, community, and resources. We'll close out with a Q&A with Kalena, our recruiters and how to apply for our next deadline on Jan. 29
