Proclaiming Emancipation Gallery Talks


Proclaiming Emancipation exhibit curators Martha Jones and Clayton Lewis, along with student curators, participate in a panel discussion in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Hosted by the MLibrary Gallery.

Martha S. Jones is associate professor of history, associate chair of the Department of Afroamerican and African Studies and a member of the Law School’s Affiliated LSA Faculty, where she is co-director of the Michigan Law Program in Race, Law & History.

Clayton Lewis is Curator of Graphic Materials and Head of Reader Services at the William L. Clements Library.
