King-Chávez-Parks Future Faculty Fellowship Application Workshop

King-Chávez-Parks Future Faculty Fellowship

Every year, the Rackham Graduate School accepts applications for the King-Chávez-Parks (KCP) Future Faculty Fellowship (FFF).

Offered through a grant from the State of Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity, the KCP FFF Program provides funding to increase the pool of academically or economically disadvantaged candidates pursuing faculty teaching careers or approved administrative positions in postsecondary education.
The State of Michigan’s KCP-FFF Application for the U-M cohort beginning Fall 2024 is open. The University of Michigan's application submission deadline is Monday, March 4, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
Master’s students awarded the KCP FFF receive up to $20,000 toward their degree, while doctoral students are awarded up to $35,000. Applications must be submitted using the MILogin for Citizens Portal.
This application workshop, in hybrid format, will have officials from the State of Michigan’s Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity on-hand to answer questions.
