Senior Psychiatrist - Annual Salary $265,000- $285,000
Education: M.D. or D.O. degree with active NY State license in good
standing Completion of a 4-year psychiatric residency training
program - Active certification by the American Board of Psychiatry
and Neurology in Psychiatry
Experience:
At least two years of post-residency experience working
with individuals with mental illness in a criminal justice
setting (jail, prison, probation and/or parole) or public
health community setting
At least one year of post-residency experience working
with individuals with serious mental illness
An equivalent and satisfactory combination of education
and experience may be considered

Psychiatrist
Annual Salary $243,366
Possession of a valid license to practice medicine in the
State of New York; and,
Completion of three years of approved residency
training in psychiatry.

Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PAGNY)
Annual Salary $143,422.50- $154,225
A Bachelor’s Degree and
State of New York Certified Physician’s Assistant and
Certification by the National Commission on
Certification of Physician’s Assistant and
At least 3 yearsof hospital or outpatient clinical
experience as a PA in Behavioral Health
An equivalent and satisfactory combination of education
and experience may be considered

A valid New York State license and current registration to
practice as a Registered Professional Nurse and,
Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner issued by
the New York State Department of Education and,
A current certificate issued by the State Education
Department to prescribe medication, and,
Two years satisfactory experience as a Nurse
Practitioner, or twoyears satisfactory experience as a
Registered Professional Nurse, eighteen months of which
must be as a Nurse Practitioner
At least 3 years of hospital experience both as RN & NP in
Behavioral Health
An equivalent and satisfactory combination of education
and experience may be considered
