Student Life will host the first-ever Multicultural Design and Inclusive Space Summit this May. This Summit invites individuals across disciplines and fields within and beyond higher education, who seek to design, create, and maintain inclusive communities. It will highlight spaces created here at Michigan (Housing D&I's Multicultural Lounges, Trotter Multicultural Center, and spaces within the Union) and invite conversation about what it means to create and maintain inclusive spaces and a sense of belonging. We need YOU to help make this time together truly special.Want to check out the volunteer opportunities? Click on the options below between May 14-16. There are volunteer options with Set-Up, Registration, Information Sharing/Wayfinding, and Clean Up. Please review the dates, times, and locations. Then, sign up for shifts you are available to work. We encourage you to sign up for multiple shifts as your schedule allows!

Please note that, upon registering, you will have the ability to note any accommodations we need to know when assigning specific roles. Prior to the beginning of the Summit, we will contact you with additional details about your shifts.Those who volunteer for one shift or more are eligible for a discounted rate on Summit attendance.
