Join City Teaching Alliance as we present The Power of the 2%:The Need and Impact of Black Men in Education on Tuesday, February 27th from 7-8pm EST. In today’s educational landscape, being taught by a male teacher, especially a Black man, remains scarce for many students until middle or high school. Shockingly, Black male educators constitute only2% of the entire U.S. teacher workforce.

What you can expect!

Panel Discussion with Current Residents and Alumni:

During the panel, we will hear from City Teaching Alliance teachers, alumni, and staff members who have experienced firsthand the challenges and triumphs of being Black men in education. '

Gain valuable insights into their unique perspectives, the impact they've had on students, and the opportunities and challenges they've encountered on their journey.
