Michael Burawoy has asked to meet with graduate students during his visit to our department. Michael has been coordinating an ongoing ethnographic project on graduate student labor in the UC system, and is interested in learning about the experience of graduate student workers at UM. This will be an informal exchange on the topic, with light refreshments. It is also an opportunity to meet Michael and ask him other questions!
