Social research. Financial forecasting. Predictive Analysis. With all the data at our fingertips how the data is presented is just as critical as the data itself. If the consumers of your visualizations aren’t getting the point, then your point simply won’t matter. Data Visualization is both an art and a science; in this brief lecture, you’ll learn some of the tips and tricks to make sure your users make the right decisions for the right reasons. On the science side, we’ll briefly cover why our brains look at visualizations the way we do. On the art side, we’ll show you the right way to construct your dashboards and the pitfalls to avoid.
