Black Women Teach: Empowering Educators, Transforming Futures

“If they don't give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair.” Shirley Chisholm

On Tuesday March 26th, from 7:00-8:00pm EST, join City Teaching Alliance as we proudly present Black Women Teach: Empowering Educators, Transforming Futures. This promises to be a powerful Green Table Talk dedicated to amplifying the voices and experiences of Black Women Educators.

Join us for an evening of inspiration and reflection as our esteemed panel, composed of current residents, fellows, staff, and alumni, share their insights on navigating the educational landscape as Black women. From discussions on balancing the demands of teaching with self-care to exploring the complexities of identity in the workplace, our panelists will delve into a range of topics centered on Black Women Educators.

After the panel discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to engage further by participating in self-chosen breakout rooms. These intimate discussions offer a space for attendees to delve deeper into specific topics, exchange experiences, and forge connections with fellow leaders, educators, and aspiring changemakers.

As a gesture of gratitude for prioritizing self-care, we're excited to host a gift card raffle with prizes tailored to enhancing your well-being. Don't miss out on this empowering event designed to celebrate and support the remarkable contributions of Black Women Educators. Register now and become a part of this enriching conversation!
