Join us on April 18th at 6 pm ET at CupsnChai Cafe in Canton for brief flash talks from the University of Michigan professors on their new and exciting research, activism, and films in Islamic, Arab, and South Asian Muslim studies. Professors will be discussing their work in Muslim communities in places as diverse as Palestine, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, the Caribbean, the United States, and others. A mingling session will be held after for attendees to connect. Free chai & snacks will be provided!
You will be hearing from Professors Aliyah Khan, Nancy Khalil, Hakem Al-Rustom, Cameron Cross, Juan Cole, Umayyah Cable, Farina Mir, Karla Mallette, and U-M PhD Candidate Sena Duran.
