This workshop teaches concepts and techniques for the analysis of multilevel data through multilevel models (also known as hierarchical linear models or mixed models). The instructors will cover a wide range of topics including the analysis of clustered and longitudinal studies. Models for both continuous and binary outcomes will be demonstrated. Participants will need a solid understanding of the concepts of linear regression analysis as a prerequisite, and will be introduced to the use of HLM 7.0 software. The workshop will consist of lively lectures and hands-on examples using HLM software.
