The speaker will address the partnership between the U-M’s Latina/o Studies Program and Fronteras Norteñas, a public history organization in southwest Detroit, formed to explore the possibility of creating a grass roots museum and cultural center to document this historical presence and roles of Latina/os within Detroit’s multiethnic history.
