This workshop is designed to cover the basic organizational tasks needed to launch a business - the "nuts and bolts" of getting your business off the ground. We cover the practical and sometimes time-consuming that must be done before you can sell products and services and before you can get investors such as:

-Choosing the right business entity
-Understand the basic business registration requirements to form a legal entity
-Understand the need for licenses and permits
-Professional Services: Legal, Accounting, and HR
-Become familiar with basic legal requirements
-Basic financial requirements of a business including tax basics
-Business Insurance requirements
-Human Resources Basics

This is a one-hour Zoom webinar. Open to university-affiliated individuals including postdocs, students, researchers, and faculty.
