Discussion with Dr. Peter Green
As you know (and will be reminded a few times again), Dr. Peter Green, the Deputy Laboratory Director at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, will be visiting our campus on June 19th (i.e. next Wednesday). In addition to the technical talk that he will deliver at noon that day, Dr. Green will also be available for an informal, non-scripted discussion with students and postdocs at 3:30pm of that day (June 19th).
Besides being one of the foremost experts in the USA on renewable energy topics, Dr. Green is a senior vice-president of a renewable energy company, a fellow of numerous professional societies, polymer scientist, former educator, former president of the Materials Research Society, and committed international science outreach advocate. He has invaluable perspectives on many different facets of life in the sciences and will be available to answer questions and share his thoughts with you.
