Come learn about the history of American Sign Language (ASL) and its fascinating origins. In this workshop, we will take a brief look at the evolution of ASL, some linguistic differences that set it apart from other languages, variations within the language, Deaf culture, and more! No prior knowledge of ASL or linguistics is required to attend.
